And in Washington......

There seems to be quite a bit going on in Washington this week from President Obama stating "I scewed up" to all the buzz over the stimulus package.

What has surprised me the most is that both Tom Daschle and Nancy Killefer have both asked to be removed from consideration. Is this a sign of a few politicians finally realizing and admitting to their wrong doing? Well, much still remains to be seen and heard.

The stimulus package has all the buzz surrounding it as it makes its rounds through the Senate where Republicans seem to be the ones with a grasp on it. What still remains to be seen are the changes to come to the package and if any real stimulus will come out it.

$500,000

Today's latest news, so far, is a cap on executive pay to $500,000 for those receiving federal bailout money. Finally, as it seems that Wall Street, Citigroup and others just don't get it or care enough about the current state of our economy. A change in attitude is gravely needed. Kudos to President Obama on that move.
